High-speed road Lašva – Travnik in 2017

Construction of fast road with a length of 23.6 km will include 18 bridges and viaducts and three tunnels from Lašva to Travnik. It is a key project for the economic development of Central Bosnia Canton. This is a fast road with the highest turnover of vehicles and would be the first real project that would connect Travnik with Sarajevo and Zenica region and further to Banja Luka.

Final project design with entrance in Travnik on junction Nević Polje is completed. Waiting for the expropriation of land, for which the Federal Government has allocated about 5 million euros, it is also necessary to determine the method that will quickly build a road as well as a potential concessionaire who will partly finance its construction, which should start in 2017 and will cost 183 million euros. Construction of the high speed road Lašva - Nević Polje (Travnik) includes 23.6 kilometers of the road with two separate carriageways, each with two traffic lanes, three and a half meters wide and with about 100 kilometers per hour designed speed. The starting point for the construction of the Corridor Vc, on the Lašva junction and ends on the junction Nević Polje near Travnik. A new section will be able to drive for 15 minutes. This is the most important infrastructure project for Central Bosnia Canton and the entire region as it links Corridor Vc and Corridor 10 towards Banja Luka.
