For the rehabilitation of the water in Mitrovica the tender for the work of Phase II is open and ends on 12 of October, 2016. Source of financing is The Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg - as set out in the project’s Bilateral Agreement published in the State Gazette on the 21st December 2015; and the Municipality of Skenderaj.

Concerning Mitrovica region, the Government of Kosovo (GoK) is improving water supply through construction of a new Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Even though present water shortages and future needs for supply necessitate these investments, increasing the water production capacities has to be accompanied by modernizing the networks, considering their poor state, in order to reduce water losses to acceptable levels.
Place of performance is Skenderaj Municipality for the period of 10 months including winter break after the Commencement order for the works and the validity period of tenders is 90 days from the time limit for receipt of tenders.
